Keswick Film Festival: Thu 28 – Sun 3 March 2019
Entertainment news sourced by Unipad Student Accommodation Lancaster: Keswick Film Festival returns for its 20th edition – join in this tremendous anniversary for a weekend of screenings and events including new and independent cinema from around the world, prize winners from Festivals such as Cannes, Toronto and Venice, documentaries that both challenge and entertain, talks and retrospectives, not to mention some very special guests.
With spring approaching, this is a wonderful time of year to visit the Lake District with the nearby fells looking at their finest. Screenings take place at the Alhambra, Keswick’s charming 105 year-old cinema, Theatre by the Lake’s grand Main House and intimate Studio, plus the giant screen at nearby Rheged, which makes for a visually stunning experience.
Traditionally the 20th Anniversary is marked with gifts of china or emerald – which films would you choose to celebrate our milestone year?
